Fotografo da molti anni; inizio con la copia russa della Leica, la Zorki 4k e ho imparato come autodidatta leggendo i testi di Andreas Feininger. Il mio primo lavoro è a 18 anni facendo le foto di gruppo delle classi per l’ anno scolastico . Pochi anni dopo collaboro con un piccolo giornale di annunci di usato facendo le foto di copertina e riproduco con la reprocamera gli esecutivi per la stampa tipografica.
La mia passione per i cavalli mi porta a fare ritratti degli animali e a fotografare i concorsi ippici di salto ostacoli.
Inizia poi il mio lavoro con la fotografia pubblicitaria e still life di prodotti , nello stesso tempo scatto ritratti e book per modelle.
In quegli anni uso dal 35mm al banco ottico 10×12 sviluppando e stampando il bianco nero e il colore.
Da piu di 10 anni sono passato al digitale e mi piace mantenere lo stesso approccio di “sviluppo analogico” nel lavorare i file; vuol dire poche e semplici correzioni per non alterare la realtà dello scatto originale .
Continuo anche a stampare, ora con inkjet .

I have been photographing for many years; I started with the Russian copy of the Leica, the Zorki 4k and learned as a self-taught photographer by reading Andreas Feininger’s texts. My first job was at the age of 18 taking class group photos for the school year. A few years later I collaborated with a small second-hand magazine doing the cover photos and reproducing the executives for letterpress printing with the reprocamera.
My passion for horses led me to take portraits of the animals and photograph show jumping competitions.
I then began my work with advertising and still life photography of products, at the same time schooting portraits and model book.
In those years I used 35mm to 10×12 view camera developing and printing black and white and colour
For more than 10 years I have switched to digital and I like to maintain the same approach of “analogue development” in working with the files; it means a few simple corrections so as not to alter the reality of the original shot.
I also continue to print , now with inkjet .
